RESIDENTIAL

Regular service includes twice a week pick up of two garbage cans.  Each can is limited to 30 gallons.  Also, each can can not weigh more than 50 pounds.

Cans must be accessible for 6:00 a.m. on your scheduled pick up day.

Anything not considered regular household garbage, for example:  any type of renovation material, any type of construction material, heavy duty clean-out, appliances, furniture, etc. you must call Patricia at 201-573-1921and schedule an appointment.  Extra charges might apply.  Once an appointment is made, the extra items along with your household garbage must be placed curbside.  Failure to schedule an appointment may result in items remaining curbside.  If however, the items are removed without an appointment, any extra charges are the responsibility of the homeowner.

SNOW & ICE: As a safety precaution, during  inclement weather, bring cans curbside until the snow & ice is cleared.

MOVING: Any change of ownership or tenants, it is your responsibility to notify our office at 201-573-1921 two weeks prior to moving out so that we may close your account.  A forwarding address is required.  Failure to do so will result in your account remaining active and you will be billed accordingly. 

DUMPSTERS: We offer our customers and contractors a variety of dumpsters for all your residential and commercial needs.   Please call Patricia at 201-573-1921 for sizes and rates.

HOLIDAYS:  We are off only on the following legal holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, July Fourth,  Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. 

If a holiday falls on your household garbage pick up day, there will be no regular pick up.  You will have a double route pick up on your next scheduled pick up day.  Since you will have double the amount of garbage, your pails are to be placed curbside.  No extra pick ups are to be scheduled on a double route pick up.

RECYCLING , LAWN & GARDEN DEBRIS, and CHRISTMAS TREE REMOVAL:  For specific rules, regulations or questions, please call  your local DPW.

HAZARDOUS WASTE:  Please contact the Bergen County Utilities Authority at 201-807-5825 for their schedule of household hazardous waste collection dates. 

MEDICAL: No medical wastes of any type is to be mixed with your household trash.  Please contact the Department of Environmental Protection to ensure the proper and safe removal of medical waste. 

NEEDLES: For any type of medical needles please call the Sharps Disposal Program at Pascack Valley Hospital  201-358-3087.
